Dutch Design Week is organized in Eindhoven each year in October, by the Design Platform Eindhoven (DPE).
DPE is a professional  organization that, supported by the Eindhoven Design community. DPE organizes events, conferences, lectures and workshops based on tree major dimensions: cultural stimulation, social cohesion and economic enhancement.
The platform seeks to join forces in order to turn DDW both nationally and internationally into a distinctive, leading design manifestation for a wide range of target groups.
The municipality of Eindhoven is aware of the fact that the design event is a major leverage to promote the design climate of Eindhoven, and has offered  financial support.

Posters of DDW...I was very excited. :D

ModeBeloofte 2009: '' Gerneration Bold & Brave''
De Krabbedanse and HTNK fashion recruitment & consultancy are proud to present the 3rd    edition of Modebelofte 2009: an exposition of graduate work of the most talented design graduates of this year.
I took some pictures from different exhibitions. These once are from ModeBelofte 2009.
This year everyone did there best, and hard work showed off!... Awesome  work!!
I really did like the collection of this year... they worked hard!!!
Last year it was freaky and this year its more wearable.

MY PERSONAL FAVORITE:
People: by Sungbeom Wi, Jaenah Jung, Joon Lee.
This installation is inspired by collective professionals who are the driving force of Eindhoven.
Each stuffed doll, representing an individual from all around the world, ultimately creates a visual harmony.

I really like this one. It says more then the concept it self.
I'm someone who doesn't read the concept en starts to create own thoughts.
Weird I KNOW!! :D

They made houses of these boxes, and anyone who wanted to promote their company or their selfs had a box here with there cards and showed a bit of what they do.
